About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our operations team. This role serves as the critical link between the warehouse and office, supporting the efficient flow of products in and out of our facility. The ideal candidate has strong organizational and communication skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys a hands-on approach to logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling and confirming deliveries
- Receive and inspect incoming freight and verify documentation (packing lists, invoices, etc.)
- Accurately log all shipments in company systems and maintain up-to-date inventory records
- Communicate with vendors, trucking companies, and internal teams regarding shipment status, discrepancies, or delays
- Print and prepare shipping labels, bills of lading, and receiving documents
- Maintain organized digital and paper records of all shipping and receiving transactions
- Support the warehouse team in organizing inventory, tagging products, and preparing orders
- Collaborate with purchasing and sales teams to ensure inventory accuracy and timely deliveries
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational guidelines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in business or logistics is a plus
- 1–2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, inventory, or administrative logistics support
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with ERP or inventory systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and assist with light warehouse duties when needed
- Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and ability to prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
