Par Logistics, Inc (an independent Landstar agent) is currently seeking an energetic and established Transportation Broker Logistics Coordinator to join our rapidly growing organization!

There’s NO transportation/logistics experience necessary. Our team will train you from ground up to become an expert in our industry. This is a GREAT entry into the logistics industry. We promote from within – you can go into account management, sales or even a leadership role from there!

Responsibilities :

• Take inbound calls & emails from trucking companies interested in our shipments. You’ll negotiate rates with them & book their trucks.
• Schedule/Coordinate truck shipments and addressing any issues that come up during transit;
• Dispatch drivers on each load with the responsibility to ensure drivers arrive to pick up without issues;
• Maintain effective Carrier Program that lead to sales growth, quality carrier on boarding process, improve soft pricing and rating knowledge and competencies across assigned geographic areas and freight types;
• Perform daily sourcing activities including targeting new carriers, negotiating and developing carrier rates and sourcing and selecting the most efficient carriers;
• Maintain carrier database by keeping pricing and contact information current;

Requirements:

• No logistics or office experience necessary. We’ll train you from ground up!
• A self-motivator
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines;
• Excellent customer service, communication and computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and data entry systems);
• Ability to positively influence culture and behavior and work effectively with all levels within the company;

Salary range: $35,000-40,000

Commissions/bonus: You have the opportunity to earn an additional $10,000-25,000/year through our commissions structure (can discuss in more detail)
