What you’ll be doing

We’re looking for a proactive and organised individual to join our Logistics team, providing safe, efficient and effective support across our SP Distribution operations.

This role involves managing material requirements from order through to delivery, liaising with internal customers and external suppliers, and supporting inventory management across warehouses and district locations.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver objectives without compromising safety, quality or customer service.
  • Monitor and set inventory levels to ensure optimum stock holding.
  • Liaise with EN business partners to coordinate forward planning of materials.
  • Promote and develop a safe working environment.
  • Control receipt, issue, and return of all materials to and from Stores.
  • Conduct regular checks on stores requisitions and stock levels.
  • Maintain stock condition and ensure safe, secure storage.
  • Field telephone orders and maintain document control systems.
  • Update stock inventory through IT systems.
  • Ensure financial compliance and enhance stock accuracy through stock checking.
  • Coordinate warehouse and district activities to optimise resources.
  • Provide management information and reports as required.

What you’ll bring

  • Knowledge of logistics processes and procedures.
  • Experience with NAMS and SAP (, but training can be provided).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • General awareness of business and commercial issues.
  • Understanding of Energy Networks financial processes and procedures.

Minimum Criteria

  • Full valid driving licence.
  • Previous experience in logistics, customer service, finance, or business roles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
