Our client, a manufacturer of high-quality, high performance and sustainable batteries is currently hiring a Logistic Automation Engineer - Level 5. The successful candidate will help shape global logistics strategy and lead the design and implementation of a world-class automated operation using AGVs and ASRS.\n  \n The Logistic Automation Engineer will:\n \nLead the end-to-end delivery of ASRS solutions across the UK plant, including specification, design, installation and testing. \nManage logistics automation suppliers to deliver projects on time and in line with business needs.

\nEvaluate RFQs and support supplier selection and nomination processes. \nCollaborate with key stakeholders to ensure site and building readiness for automation projects \nContribute to the development of the logistics strategy for future project phases.  \n The Logistic Automation Engineer will have:\n \nExperience with ASRS Warehouse Control Systems and the interface with upper-level systems e.g.

\nDelivered logistics projects utilising project management techniques to ensure the on-time delivery of planned outcomes \nStrong knowledge of logistics processes, tools and techniques. \nDemonstrable ability to build relationships and work with cross functional teams. \nExperience with the design, optimisation, installation and commissioning of ASRS systems ideally within the battery or similar industries.
