Medical Physicist Radiation Oncology | Flexible Schedule | Cooperstown, NY

Location: Cooperstown, NY

Schedule: Full-time or Locums | MF, 8a5p | Minimal On-Call

Start Date: December 1, 2025

Type: Contract | Ongoing | Daily OT after 10 hrs

Job Summary:

This Upstate NY facility is hiring a Medical Physicist to support its Radiation Therapy program in Cooperstown & Oneonta, NY. Work with cutting-edge therapies (SBRT, SRS, HDR, radiopharmaceuticals) in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

What You'll Do

• Perform treatment planning, QA, and physics oversight for ~4050 patients/day
• Support procedures like SBRT, SRS, HDR, Lutathera, Xofigo, Y-90
• Work with a team of oncologists, dosimetrists, and therapists
• Document and collaborate using Epic EMR

What You Need

• Medical Physics (CAMPEP-accredited)
• ABR Board Certification ()
• NY State Medical Physics License (required)
• Willingness to be flexible with shift start/end times based on equipment downtime
