The base salary for this position is dependent upon experience and location ranging from $77k-$82k.
Team Description:
The Maine Customer Funded Projects Unit is responsible for planning and executing transmission and substation projects that enable the integration of large-scale load and assets. These projects are critical to ensuring grid reliability and supporting the region’s growing energy needs. The unit’s scope includes developing cost and schedule estimates, negotiating agreements, initiating and executing project plans, and coordinating cross-functional activities throughout the project lifecycle.
This multidisciplinary team collaborates across engineering, project management, procurement, permitting, legal, and operations, playing a key role in delivering infrastructure critical to Maine’s future energy landscape.
Job Summary:
General responsibilities include, supporting infrastructure projects through data collection and analysis for cost and schedule estimates, assisting in agreement negotiations, and coordinating project planning and approvals. It includes monitoring project milestones to ensure alignment with scope, schedule, and budget, drafting and reviewing RFPs, and aiding the Construction Manager with field activities. Additional responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, contributing to senior management reporting, and gaining technical exposure to substation Protection and Controls by studying diagrams and equipment. The role also entails verifying bill of materials and scope documentation for accuracy and completeness.
