Shift Notes: Mostly M-F days, but some evening and weekends as needed.

Weekend Requirements: As Needed

On Call Requirements: No

Education:

• Master of Science in Medical Physics, Physics, or related field required. Doctor's degree in Medical Physics or Physics related discipline . [REQUIRED]

Experience:  

• 3-5 years experience in a clinical setting .[HIGHLY PREFFERED]
• Completed within past 5 years [REQUIRED]

License(s)/Certification(s): 

• Board Certified Radiation Therapy Physicist by the American Board of Medical Physicists. [REQUIRED]
• Board Certified Radiation Therapy Physicist by the American Board of Radiology. [REQUIRED]
• Eligible to be an Authorized Medical Physicist by the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services.
• Certification by the American Board of Radiology or equivalent in therapeutic Medical Physics. This is required within 3 years of hire.
