Summary
The Loan Operations Analyst supports the efficient and accurate processing of loan servicing duties while contributing to technology initiatives and project execution across the bank. This individual will leverage their expertise in loan operations to enhance process efficiency and assist the department in production and servicing tasks.
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and timely loan servicing, including booking, funding, payments, and maintenance activities.
- Assisting with monthly internal and external audit requests
- Act as a subject matter expert to assist team members with complex loan servicing tasks, and escalate loan-related issues when necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments and the loan operations manager to support the implementation of technology initiatives and assist in operational and technology upgrades
- Serve as a liaison between loan operations and banking operations, accounting, and client services
- Participate in departmental projects and initiatives, ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks
- Develop and improve document processes, workflows, and trainings as needed.
- Oversee and support the escrow disbursements and non-escrow process and reconciliation with third-party vendors.
- Manage and maintain collateral, including filing, maintenance, perfection and releases in various systems
- Reconcile loan related general ledgers and demand deposits
- Support the team with the monthly loan document exceptions and report distribution.
- Review loan documents, interest rate adjustments and loan file maintenance for accuracy
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associates Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree .
- Minimum 3 years experience in loan operations or loan servicing, preferably in a banking or financial institution.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience in Salesforce.
- Experience using core banking systems (e.g., Jack Henry, FIS, Fiserv, or similar platforms).
- Familiarity with document management and loan servicing software.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational time management skills, problem solving skills, and the ability to quickly grasp concepts and processes with limited guidance from management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work in a team environment with the ability to interact well, and in a positive manner, with co-workers and management.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Reporting Structure: This role reports to the Loan Operations Manager
Office Requirements: This role is required to be in the Denver Tech Center office at least 3-4 days per week
