Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe salary for this role is $170K - $250K/yearWe are looking for a Litigation Associate with 5-10 years of experience to join a nationally recognized boutique real estate law firm and handle complex commercial and construction litigation matters. You'll be stepping into a high-impact role where senior partners need someone who can independently manage court appearances, motion practice, and depositions.What will you be doing?Handling court appearances, case management conferences, and oral arguments on summary judgment motionsConducting depositions and cross-examining witnessesManaging complex commercial real estate litigation and contract disputesRepresenting insured architects, engineers, and contractors in construction defect and D&O claims as panel counsel for major insurance companiesSupporting motion practice and litigation strategy across the firm's growing commercial litigation portfolioKey Requirements5-10 years of litigation experience, preferably in commercial or real estate-related mattersAdmitted to the New Jersey Bar (New York or Pennsylvania bar admission is a strong plus)Ability to independently handle court appearances, depositions, and motion practiceBackground at a small-to-midsize, reputable litigation firm (not BigLaw unless willing to adjust expectations)Strong work ethic and commitment to being in-office; no lifestyle-first candidates
