We’re seeking a hands-on Linux Systems Engineer with strong automation skills to support and enhance our fully on-premises infrastructure. This role is 100% Linux-focused—cloud experience is a plus but not required.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining high availability and performance across mixed Linux and Windows environments. Collaborating with developers, release engineers, and operations teams, you’ll troubleshoot issues, implement automation tools, and contribute to system design for low-latency, fault-tolerant workloads.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement server solutions for optimal performance and reliability
• Automate tasks using scripting (Python, Bash, Perl, etc.)
• Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies
• Support 24/7 production operations and participate in on-call rotation
• Manage OS upgrades, patches, and infrastructure refreshes
• Collaborate across teams to maintain system integrity

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of Linux (RedHat variants )
• Intermediate Linux administration and engineering
• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.)
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Foreman
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

• Degree in engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience with bare-metal servers and virtualization (VMWare, Proxmox)
• Familiarity with containers (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, InfiniBand)
• Experience in low-latency computing environments
