Lighting Controls Quotations Specialist

Position Summary: Responsible for miscellaneous and project quotations. Provide quotations as requested in a timely and efficient manner. Works under general supervision.

Position Responsibilities:

• Daily interaction with commercial lighting quotes teams across various SESCO branches
• Builds and maintains relationships with customers, manufacturers, and outside salespeople
• Assist customers in design for bids of lighting control systems as needed
• Attend product training sessions when available
• Provide material take-offs and project quotations as needed for Architectural and Energy Management Lighting Controls Systems
• Assist with project layouts
• Input daily report information inclusive of quotations and layout as needed into SESCO Prime
• Provide quotations on midsize and large projects that are efficient, competitive, and meet all local codes
• Update information in Prime for rebids as needed
• Provide proactive and reactive controls information as directed
• Maintain knowledge of currently represented products
• Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work
• Other duties as assigned by Manager

Essential Skills:

• Must possess 2 – 4 years of experience in miscellaneous lighting controls, project quotations and project management experience
• Knowledge and principals for providing quality standards of positive customer service and satisfaction
• A certain degree of creativity for problem solving
• Must have excellent math skills
• Must be able to multi-task
• Exercise independent judgement
• Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, Bluebeam, and internet research
