Licensed NYC DOB Site Safety Manager

Our site safety company based in NYC is seeking a highly qualified Site Safety Manager to oversee safety measures for a project located in New York City. The ideal candidate must hold a valid NYC DOB SSM License as well as a FDNY S56 Fire Safety Manager License, and must be in good physical shape as the job requires them to be active.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement site-specific safety plans to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and take necessary corrective actions.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety measures and recommend improvements as needed.
• Train site personnel on safety procedures and maintain accurate safety records.
• Serve as a liaison between the project team and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to identify causes and develop strategies to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

Requirements:

• Valid NYC DOB SSM License and FDNY S56 Fire Safety Manager License.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in site safety management recommended.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and NYC building codes.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Good physical condition and ability to move around the site comfortably.

Rate: 60-65/hr based on Experience. Willing to train. Candidate must be licensed.
