Job DescriptionJob Description

Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. They perform emergency repairs and ensure compliance with safety regulations, often collaborating with other specialists. Looking for candidates throughout the state.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install new systems, parts, and components, including electrical wiring.
• Perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults, replacing worn or defective parts.
• Inspect and test HVAC systems and components to ensure proper functionality.
• Troubleshoot and find the source of HVAC system malfunctions.
• Recommend maintenance and improvements to enhance system performance.
• Keep records of work performed, including repairs and maintenance.
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently when required.
• Ensure compliance with appliance and OSHA standards to maintain safety and quality.
• Discuss system malfunctions with site managers and schedule appointments to address issues on-site.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid, Active New Jersey HVACR license.
• Proficient in installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems.
• Skilled in installing electrical components and wiring for HVAC systems.
• Ability to inspect and test HVAC systems and components.
• Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and repair system malfunctions.
• Knowledge of how to replace worn or defective parts in HVAC systems.
• Ability to recommend maintenance procedures to optimize system performance.
• Strong communication skills to discuss system issues with managers.
