Have to be able to pass a background and drug screen.
OSHA 10 or willingness to take the course.

Job Title: Industrial Electrician
Job Summary:
The Industrial Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, machinery, and equipment within an industrial or manufacturing setting. This role ensures that electrical systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with codes and regulations to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, and control systems in compliance with and local electrical codes.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues in industrial machinery, production equipment, and facility systems to minimize downtime.
- Perform preventive maintenance on motors, transformers, generators, PLCs, variable frequency drives (VFDs), switchgear, and other electrical equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams, engineers, and production staff to support plant operations.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and OSHA regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
- Assist with upgrading and modifying electrical systems to improve efficiency and safety.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns to restore operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship program or trade school .
- Valid electrician license or certification (as required by state/local regulations).
- 5+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, industrial controls, PLCs, VFDs, and motor controls.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Proficiency with electrical testing tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
Work Environment:
- Industrial or manufacturing plant setting.
- May involve exposure to loud noise, dust, heat, and moving machinery.
- Requires use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
