About the Role:
The Licensed Architectural K-12 Project Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the predesign and execution of educational facilities that meet the needs of students and educators alike. Minimum Qualifications:
- Licensed Architect in the state of Texas.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the architectural industry, specifically in K-12 education.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Architecture or Project Management.
- Experience with sustainable design practices and LEED certification.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations specific to educational facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple K-12 architectural projects from conception through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to develop project plans and specifications that meet educational needs.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address any issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
- Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders, including school boards and community members, to maintain transparency and engagement.
- Oversee the procurement of materials and services, ensuring that all project components align with sustainability and educational standards.
