As a Level 2 Systems Engineer, you’ll serve as a key technical expert supporting escalated IT issues, maintaining system uptime, and deploying solutions that make a real impact on our customers’ operations. You’ll collaborate closely with both internal teams and client contacts—owning issues through to resolution and providing mentorship to junior engineers.

What You'll Do
- Own and resolve Level 2 technical support tickets with urgency and professionalism
- Maintain client infrastructure through software updates, patching, and endpoint protection
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to designated client sites—building strong, proactive relationships
- Contribute to a knowledge-sharing culture by documenting processes and mentoring Level 1 engineers
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to deploy or support hardware and software solutions
- Participate in project work including server upgrades, migrations, network enhancements, and more
- Track and document time, solutions, and communication accurately within the ticketing system
- Take part in a regular on-call rotation for after-hours support

What You'll Bring to the Role
- 4+ years of IT support experience in a helpdesk, MSP, or systems administration role
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- This role requires local travel to client sites (valid driver’s license required and clean driving record are required
Technical Skills That Set You Apart
(Not all required, but strongly )
- Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, and Exchange administration
- Office365 setup and troubleshooting
- VMWare vSphere (v4 or later)
- Windows Server (2008 or later)
- Certifications such as A+, Network+, NSE 3+, Sophos Engineer, Cisco IOS
- College degree in Information Technology or related field
