My client, a leader in civil and energy infrastructure, is seeking a Manager of Transmission Line Engineering to join their Massachusetts office.
In this high-visibility role, you’ll lead a team of skilled engineers to design and deliver high-voltage (HV) and extra-high-voltage (EHV) overhead transmission line projects—work that directly powers communities and drives the future of energy infrastructure.

Salary: $180-200k/yr base plus bonus
Schedule: hybrid is flexible based on proximity and self-managed

In this role, you’ll:

• Lead the way as both a Technical Expert and Supervisor on complex transmission projects.
• Apply industry standards (NESC, ASCE, and more) to solve real-world engineering challenges.
• Collaborate across disciplines in planning, permitting, and construction.
• 60-75% management vs hands-on
• Inspire and grow talent by building and mentoring a high-performing engineering team.

What you bring:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with electric utility transmission systems.
• 2+ years of proven leadership, mentorship, or managerial experience.
• PE License in at least one state or ability to get one (bonus points for multi-state).
• BS in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or a related engineering discipline.
