ComResource is looking for a Lead Techno-Functional Architect.

We need someone to assist in leading enterprise discovery and architectural alignment for an NDC/UPC Reform initiative, mapping current system flows, assessing integration impacts, and delivering blueprint-ready architecture for regulatory modernization.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead enterprise discovery workshops across IT and business domains
  • Facilitate cross-team architectural discussions and identify system dependencies
  • Document current-state NDC/UPC data flows across enterprise systems
  • Analyze impacts to SAP item master, WMS integrations, EDI transactions, and serialization platforms
  • Identify data transformation, padding, and field-length constraints
  • Produce system interaction diagrams and integration dependency matrices
  • Assess schema changes related to the transition from 10-digit to 12-digit NDC
  • Evaluate integration payload impacts including REST, EDI, and Kafka where applicable
  • Identify risks within external trading partner transactions
  • Lead solution discussions with domain architects to evaluate refactor vs middleware approaches
  • Ensure regulatory alignment with DSCSA and FDA rules
  • Deliver enterprise impact maps, data flow diagrams, architecture summaries, and blueprint-level solution recommendations

Essentials:

  • 12+ years of experience in Supply Chain IT or Pharmaceutical IT
  • Deep integration experience with SAP ECC or S/4
  • Strong knowledge of EDI (X12) transactions
  • Experience with WMS integrations
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and field-level impacts
  • Experience leading enterprise architecture workshops
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Director and VP-level stakeholders

Desired:

  • Experience with serialization platforms or EPCIS
  • Pharmaceutical distribution domain knowledge
  • Experience with Manhattan WMS
  • Familiarity with GTIN and NDC standards
  • Experience creating architecture diagrams using Lucid or Visio
  • Experience with ETL or data warehousing technologies such as IBM DataStage, QualityStage, or Informatica
