1. Position Title : Lead Systems Engineer (Windows)

2. Position Summary

Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Windows-based enterprise systems within Department of Defense (DoD) and Navy environments. This Key Personnel role ensures secure, scalable, and high-performing infrastructure across mission-critical platforms.

3. Key Responsibilities

Design and implement Windows Server architectures, including Active Directory and Exchange
Lead deployment and configuration of virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
Integrate and manage enterprise storage systems (e.g., NetApp, EMC, VAST)
Ensure system scalability, redundancy, and disaster recovery readiness
Maintain secure network operations using TCP/IP and firewall technologies
Provide technical leadership in performance tuning and infrastructure troubleshooting
Ensure compliance with IAT II and Tier 5 (T5) security clearance requirements
Support DoD program environments and mission-critical infrastructure

4. Minimum Qualification

Four (4) years of professional experience in Windows systems engineering within DoD program environments
Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Exchange, virtualization platforms, and disaster recovery strategies
Familiarity with enterprise storage systems such as NetApp, EMC, or VAST
Understanding of TCP/IP protocols and secure network architecture
Required designation: IAT II
Security clearance level: Tier 5 (T5)

5. Qualifications

Experience supporting DoD or Navy Windows infrastructure projects
Familiarity with SCCM, Group Policy, and enterprise monitoring tools
Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
Ability to lead cross-functional teams in secure, high-availability environments
