The role balances technical, customer, and business requirements to deliver robust, scalable, and compliant products.\n\nRole Summary\n\nEstablish and own the system architecture vision.\nTranslate requirements into system-level specifications.\nDefine interfaces between hardware, firmware, software, and mechanical components.\nLead trade-off studies, risk assessments, and validation planning.\nEnsure scalability, modularity, and maintainability in designs.\nServe as the technical authority and primary point of coordination for system-level design. \n\nPrimary Objectives\n\nDeliver robust, scalable products that meet technical, user, and business requirements.\nEnsure timely delivery within budget and with minimal technical risk.\nDrive long-term product viability and platform extensibility. \n\nMain Responsibilities\n\nArchitecture Delivery:\n\nLead architectural design of new electrical measurement products from concept to production.\nDefine and document system-level requirements and interfaces.\nMeasure of success: Approved architecture delivered on time and aligned with product requirements.Integration & Validation:\n\nGuide cross-functional teams (hardware, firmware, software, mechanical, and test).\nSupport design for manufacturability (DFM) and testability (DFT).\nStay current with emerging technologies (e.g., ADCs, low-noise analogue design, IoT standards).\nMeasure of success: First-pass integration success with minimal late-stage rework; products pass compliance/qualification tests; critical milestones (architecture freeze, validation, integration test) achieved on schedule.Compliance & Quality:\n\nEnsure compliance with standards (IEC, UL, ISO, FCC, CE).\nMeasure of success: Products meet regulatory and quality standards.Project Milestones:\n\nConduct trade-off analyses and risk assessments.\nMentor engineers and promote best practices in system architecture.\nMeasure of success: Reduced time-to-market for new variants or successors; strong cross-team alignment and productivity.Scalability & Risk Management:\n\nEnsure scalability, modularity, and maintainability in designs.\nMeasure of success: Architecture is resilient and future-ready, mitigating technical risks.
