Lead Structural Engineer - Renewable Energy

Structural Engineer (Team Lead) | Belfast Vickerstock are working exclusively with a leading EPC contractor specialising in the renewable energy and data centre markets. With more than 30-years’ experience delivering projects across the world and a turnover of €500m, this organisation has recently established a new Belfast office to enhance their already exceptional offering while giving local engineering talent the opportunity to work in a high-growth sector without the need to travel or relocate. As part of their ambitious growth plans, they are now seeking to recruit a Senior Structural Engineer to take on a leading role in this new venture. Your new role as a Structural Engineer (Team Lead) In this senior role, you will be responsible for leading and growing a team of Structural Engineers who will focus on the delivery of both traditional building structures (data-centres & substations) and heavy-civil structures. Project workload will include wind farm, solar farm and battery storage schemes. What you will need to succeed as a Structural Engineer (Team Lead) A degree (MEng preferred) in Civil or Structural Engineering; Chartered with a relevant professional body; A minimum of 8-years’ experience working within a design consultancy with an emphasis on structural design in either buildings or civil structures; Some experience working in the renewable energy sector would be an advantage; What’s in it for you?
