Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAbout the Role:Join SHERGO SYSTEMS LLC as a Lead Software Engineer and take the helm of innovative software development projects. We are building a modern multi-platform Pawn and POS platform operating at the intersection
of retail, inventory management, financial transactions, compliance, and AI-assisted operational tooling.  We are seeking a highly capable Senior Software Engineer to help design, build, and scale the platform across backend systems, cloud infrastructure, transactional databases, integrations, and AI-powered workflows.  This is a senior, hands-on engineering role with significant ownership and technical influence.
Compensation:
$100,000+ USD base salary minimum. Upper range negotiable based on experience, architectural capability, and technical competency.

Responsibilities:

•  Design and maintain multi-platform applications using modern .NET technologies, including Web, Blazor WASM, and MAUI-based systems
• Architect secure, high-integrity transactional workflows involving loans, payments, inventory, retail operations, and reconciliation
• Lead implementation of new platform initiatives, architectural improvements, and technical standards
• Manage Azure infrastructure, deployments, environments, networking, security, and operational reliability
• Design and optimize SQL Server schemas, queries, and transactional database workflows
• Build integrations with POS hardware, payment systems, third-party APIs, and eCommerce platforms
• Contribute to AI-assisted operational tooling, including valuation, categorization, automation, and intelligent workflow systems

Requirements:

• 7–10+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Exceptional candidates with 5+ years of advanced experience will also be considered
• Strong expertise in:
  •  C#, Modern .NET / .NET Core, SQL Server, Azure infrastructure and services
• Proven experience designing and operating complex application architectures and distributed transactional systems
• Strong SQL and relational database design knowledge, including query optimization, transactional integrity, and T-SQL procedures
• Experience managing applications and infrastructure within Azure environments, including Azure SQL, Functions, Containers, Networking, and Security
• Strong understanding of Git workflows, branching strategies, and repository management
• Candidates should be highly proficient with modern AI-assisted development workflows and capable of leveraging tools such as, Claude, Codex, Gemini, Cursor, Copilot, or similar systems to significantly accelerate engineering productivity and execution

Highly Desired:

• Blazor experience
• Experience with POS, FinTech, retail, or operational business systems
• Experience with AI APIs, AI-assisted workflows, or agent-based systems
• Familiarity with DevOps workflows, Linux environments, PowerShell, and CI/CD infrastructure
