As a Lead Software Engineer within PNC's Lending Tech organization, you will be based in Dallas, TX, Pittsburgh, PA or Austin, TX.
Technical Skills Required:
•\tExperience with programming like Java, Python or C#.
•\tExperience working with relational database and good understanding of SQL.
•\tFamiliarity working with cloud environments.
•\tFamiliarity with one of rules engines like FICO OMDM, Drools, Experian Power Curve.
•\tExperience working in an event driven environment and familiarity with Kafka messaging.
•\tGood understanding of systems integration and familiarity with different types of systems integration using API, FTP and Messaging bus.
•\tAbility to create process flows.
•\tExperience developing and maintenance of APIs
Skills:
•\tExperience working with Swagger, Kafka, JSON schema, XSD, XML and web services (RESTful and SOAP)
Job Description
•\tWill be working with group of developers to develop several API for credit decisioning and perform validation on API.
•\tAdhere to coding standards and develop rules for decision services.
•\tWork with lead developers to create technical design documents.
•\tWorks with business, credit, data, and model development partners to design, develop, and monitor test designs and analytical reporting to track and enhance strategies. Designs / enhances standard reporting suites for regular product / portfolio reviews.
•\tLeverages business / product expertise to rigorously analyze large datasets, improve risk adjusted returns, deliver profitable growth, and communicate conclusions. Synthesizes analytical results and develops, recommends, and implements business strategies that improve lending decisions, assist in managing risk, increase revenues, reduce exposure to losses, meet business goals, and improve performance. Establishes baselines for strategies and tracks actual performance to expectations.
•\tApplies predictive models, third party data, and other tools to develop and execute appropriate segmentation and targeting for acquisition and portfolio strategies to provide insight into portfolio risk. Manages engagements with internal and external information suppliers ensuring solution is fit for purpose while maintaining appropriate governance and oversight.
•\tCollaborates with the line of business, Finance, and Risk partners to assess and establish credit risk appetite and to understand its implications, as well as to establish policies and procedures governing the identification, monitoring, and management of risk appetite.
