Job Description

Lead Software Engineer | 2 days onsite | 130k-200k

We’re looking for a Lead Software Engineer to help scale our end-to-end encryption platform.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys designing and building secure, distributed applications and working close to the core of a privacy-focused product.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance client applications and APIs across Windows, macOS, and web platforms
• Collaborate closely with product, design, infrastructure, and security teams
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, design feedback, and mentorship of junior engineers

What You Bring

• BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent practical experience)
• Proficiency in Go and/or Python, and experience designing API-driven systems
• Ability to work onsite in Boston two days per week
• Experience building client applications on macOS (Swift) or Windows (C++)
• Ability to design/architect applications
