Lead Engineer
About the Role
Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for facilities management and technical excellence? We are is seeking a proactive and experienced Site Lead to oversee the day-to-day operation of our static site in Wolverhampton. You'll ensure compliance with statutory and mandatory standards while managing Mechanical, Electrical, and Fabric services to deliver high-quality service across the contract.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and maintain M&E plant, equipment, and fabric services.
Manage the CAFM system to monitor performance and service delivery.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001/14001 and manage QHSE responsibilities.
Organise and carry out reactive and planned maintenance tasks.
Supervise specialist contractors and ensure quality service delivery.
Compile and validate risk assessments, method statements, and work package plans.
Attend meetings, training, and respond to operational requirements.
Participate in out-of-hours call-outs and contractor audits.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement in maintenance practices.
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience:
Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
Proficient in CAFM systems and report compilation.
Skilled in risk assessment and logbook management.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Client-facing experience and ability to work under pressure.Desirable Qualifications:
City & Guilds or equivalent in Electrical discipline.
IOSH Managing Safely certification.
Knowledge of plant operations, BMS systems, and business-critical services.
