Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, execution, and coordination of commissioning activities for ICT, telecom, and navigational systems on offshore platforms, vessels (e.g., FPSOs), and related facilities.
Develop and implement commissioning plans, FAT/SAT procedures, and test documentation in compliance with client specifications, classification society standards (e.g., ABS, DNV), and industry best practices.
Oversee end-to-end commissioning of telecommunication systems and ensure integration with platform control and automation systems.
Coordinate with system vendors, construction teams, and client representatives to ensure correct installation, configuration, and testing.
Manage interfaces between subsystems and resolve technical or integration issues.
Review and verify commissioning documentation and ensure compliance with project HSE plans, cybersecurity protocols, and applicable standards.
Prepare handover documents, as-built records, configuration backups, and conduct training for client or operations teams.
Lead and mentor a team of commissioning engineers and technicians, providing guidance for onshore and offshore site work.
Monitor progress, prepare status reports, and communicate key updates to project management teams.
Troubleshoot complex network, communication, or integration issues during FAT, SAT, and site testing.
Resolve punch list items and support the closure of telecom and ICT-related commissioning packages.
Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related field.
At least 8 years of site commissioning experience in the marine/offshore oil & gas industry.
Strong technical knowledge of telecom systems, navigational systems, ICT networks, and industrial communication protocols.
Hands-on experience with IP addressing, VLAN configuration, network security, FAT, SAT, and site commissioning procedures.
Familiarity with offshore standards, safety protocols, and certifications such as BOSIET, HUET .
