Lead Process Engineer in PE1

My Client is recruiting for a Lead Process Engineer in the Water Sector\n\nLocation: The role will be hybrid from Peterborough office and working from home\n\nThe Lead Process Engineer will work in collaboration with the project design team to arrive at appropriate process solutions adopting the principles of optimised plant performance, use of standard designs and following engineering design standards.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nProcess design of Clean Water pumping stations, dosing packages and control systems that achieve the goals of Water Company in terms of customer, environment and efficiency. This will incorporate complex hydraulics and system control\nSupport the Process Discipline Head in the drive towards excellence in H&S, demonstrating applied knowledge & skills to produce safe designs to discharge your obligation according to CDM Regulations, standards and accepted codes of practice.\nProcess calculations, hydraulics, unit processes, pump calcs, capacity calculations, water quality assessments, control philosophies, SCADA integration, system commissioning integration\nData sheets.\nTechnical bid analysis of 3rd party process equipment\nEnsure all technical work is undertaken to the correct standards & specifications. Ensure the requirements of MAS are adhered to & offer challenge when applicable.\nBe responsible for maintaining your own quality and consistency of all process engineering technical documents.\nEnsure all technical work is undertaken to the correct standards & specifications.

Ensure the requirements of MAS are adhered to & offer challenge when applicable.\nBe responsible for maintaining your own quality and consistency of all process engineering technical documents.\n Experience and Qualifications:\n\nExperience of process engineering\nDemonstrable experience in clean water treatment and system control\nStrong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.\nStrong IT skills.\nProven problem solving capability\nEducated to degree level in water/wastewater process science/engineering related subject.\nHave a relevant postgraduate qualification such as CIWEM or a relevant MSc.\nMember of a professional body\nFull UK driving licence
