Lead Power systems Project Manager - Hybrid Renewable & Gas Power\n\nLocation: London (Extensive Travel to Chile)\n\nAn opportunity to lead the development and delivery of a large-scale hybrid energy platform for the Gente Grande project in Chile, combining approximately 1GW of wind with 800MW of gas-fired power . \nWorking directly with the Project Director and Board, you will take ownership of the planning, design, procurement, construction and commissioning of the project's integrated power system.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nLead development of the overall hybrid power system strategy and architecture.\nManage engineering consultants, OEMs and key technology providers.\nOversee permitting, environmental studies and regulatory compliance activities.\nDevelop CAPEX, OPEX, project schedules and delivery strategies.\nLead procurement activities, contractor selection and tender evaluations.\nCoordinate delivery of wind , gas and supporting infrastructure.\nOversee commissioning, performance testing and system integration.\nManage key stakeholders including regulators, consultants, contractors, investors and industrial customers.\n\nRequirements\n\nDegree-qualified Electrical, Power Systems or Energy Engineer.\nStrong experience in power , renewables, gas-fired or hybrid energy systems.\nBackground in large-scale energy infrastructure development and delivery.\nExperience managing engineering consultants, contractors and OEMs.\nCommercial awareness with strong project management capabilities.\nComfortable operating within a lean, fast-paced project environment.\nThis is a rare opportunity to play a leading role in the delivery of a flagship energy infrastructure project backed by international investors, with responsibility spanning development through to commercial operation.\n\nRise Technical Recruitment Ltd acts an employment agency for permanent roles and an employment business for temporary roles.\n\nThe salary advertised is the bracket available for this position.
