Own the architecture, development, and deployment of sophisticated industrial control systems while guiding teams and collaborating with customers to deliver reliable, standards-compliant solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and implement complex control systems for industrial use cases.
- Lead and mentor engineers; set technical direction and uphold best practices.
- Engage with customers and stakeholders to capture requirements and specifications.
- Create control system designs that meet project goals and compliance needs.
- Plan and execute comprehensive system testing and validation.
- Direct installation, start-up, and commissioning efforts on site.
- Monitor emerging technologies and integrate relevant advancements.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in control system design, development, and implementation.
- Mastery of PLC programming (e.g., ladder logic, structured text).
- Strong command of control theory and advanced control algorithms.
- Track record leading complex projects from concept to delivery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities.
- Effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and with external partners.
- Advanced proficiency with EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical, and AutoCAD.
Hands-on expertise
- PLC troubleshooting and PLC programming
- Electrical schematics; electrical/electronic systems fundamentals
- General troubleshooting and industrial automation equipment troubleshooting
- Work with 120/208/240/480 V and high-voltage systems
- CNC machine installation; electrical installation in industrial settings
- Industrial robot programming; SCADA configuration and support
- CAD software utilization (AutoCAD)
- Industrial electrical experience in production environments
