Lead Mechanical Engineer Opportunities near Wixom, Michigan.

A company with a facility near Wixom, Michigan is currently seeking a Lead Mechanical Project Engineers experienced with SolidWorks 3D CAD software to join their growing team. The position is a Direct Hire opportunity.  This is an excellent opportunity for Designers, Checkers, or Engineers with a CAD background looking for a company that offers excellent management, and competitive rates and benefits.

Mechanical Engineering rates are anticipated to be Salaried-Plus Overtime based on each candidate's experience and education. All well-qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. We offer excellent benefits including great medical, dental, and Vision.

Qualified Lead Mechanical Engineers will have most, if not all the following skills and experience:

• 3+ years of Mechanical Engineering and Design Experience. Must be capable of leading 3-5 Engineers and Designers.
• 3+ years of recent/relevant experience with Leading Assembly Projects from start to finish. 
• 5+ years of recent/relevant experience with SolidWorks CAD design and detail of weld fixtures, special machines, and assembly line equipment
• Experience with process engineering as it relates to kick-off meetings, engineering calculations, client approvals and more
• BS Degree Required.
• Must be able to work in the United States (No H-1 sponsorship or student visas considered)
• Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, references, etc.
