Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescriptionAs Lead Mechanical Engineer, you are responsible for overseeing the overall project development processes, analyzing blueprints and specifications, and designing system models according to clients' requirements and budget limitations.
Key Responsibilities

  • Design Leadership: Lead the design and development of mechanical systems, including structural components, thermal management systems, and mechanical interfaces. Ensure designs meet mission requirements and industry standards.
  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of mechanical engineers. Provide technical guidance, manage project assignments, and promote a collaborative work environment.
  • Project Management: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources. Ensure that mechanical engineering projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Integration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems into spacecraft and satellite platforms. Ensure compatibility with electrical, thermal, and software systems.
  • Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans for mechanical systems. Conduct performance and reliability testing to validate system functionality and compliance with specifications.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve technical issues related to mechanical systems. Troubleshoot problems and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and technical manuals. Ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant with company standards.


QualificationsITAR Requirements:
