Lead Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

Overview

The Lead Mechanical Engineer oversees mechanical systems associated with tower residential and office/ retail projects including HVAC firefighting water systems and related utilities.

Your role

• Review mechanical designs shop drawings and material submittals.
• Supervise installation of pumps piping firefighting systems HVAC and mechanical equipment.
• Coordinate mechanical works with civil structural electrical and MEP teams.
• Lead site inspections testing commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with international standards (ASHRAE NFPA SMACNA).
• Prepare progress reports and identify technical challenges.
• Support procurement by evaluating suppliers and equipment specifications.

About you

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 15 - 20 years experience and extensive technical knowledge in tower residential and office/ retail projects.
• Project management and leadership skills.
• Strong knowledge of pumps HVAC mechanical utilities and fire systems.
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD Revit) preferred.
