Lead Manufacturing Engineer

We’re looking for a Lead Manufacturing Engineer / Manufacture Engineering Team Lead to join our world-class manufacturing facility near Middlesbrough. You’ll be guiding a small but highly skilled team of Manufacturing Engineers, providing hands-on engineering support and helping to drive operational excellence.



What you’ll be doing:



Leading your team to support production, servicing, commissioning, FAT, and new product introductions (NPI)



Driving improvements in equipment, processes, and technology to boost quality and efficiency



Monitoring and achieving departmental KPIs



Championing a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and compliance



What we’re looking for:



Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar



Practical experience in manufacturing / production environments, ideally with complex electro-mechanical products



Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies



Experience in regulated industries such as Defence, Aerospace, or similar is a bonus
