Lead Maintenance Technician - Conveyor Systems - needed in North Dakota – Up to $40 an hour

A global leader in conveyor technologies with several facilities in North Dakota is currently seeking several Lead Conveyor Service Technicians for long-term Direct-Hire opportunities with their growing team. Lead Conveyor Service Technicians rates are anticipated to start between $36 to $40 per hour based on each candidates experience and education. We will pay more for the right skills and experience. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. Overtime is paid at premium rates over 40 hours. Qualified Lead Conveyor Service Technicians will have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:

  • Experience with conveyor systems, roller and belt conveyors, diagnosing, repairing and replacing gears, belts, bearings, chains, rollers, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Must be able to align and adjust mechanical components to reduce friction, wear, and operational failures.
  • Good basic electrical skills including using multimeters, diagnostic software, and interpreting PLC faults / alarms.
  • Must be hands-on, open to travelling to projects and handle clients directly.
  • Experience with scheduled / predictive maintenance and repairs is essential and on-call for emergency breakdowns.
  • Must have experience replacing sensors, motors, VFD's, as well as basic troubleshooting of HMI's and controls circuits.
  • Must have confidence reading electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical blueprints / manuals.
  • Must be able to travel 50% overnight-travel, will be primarily within the state of North Dakota, and often within 2 hours of your home location.
  • Must be able to work in the United States (no H-1 sponsorship or student visas considered).
  • Must be able to pass standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, etc.
