Job Description
W Talent are exclusively recruiting on behalf of a large, well-established manufacturing business located in Belper, Derbyshire who are looking to recruit a Lead Maintenance Engineer to join a dynamic team within a high-tech, fast-paced production environment. The successful candidate will be working 40 hours per week, across 3 week shift rotation period which include Early's, Afternoons, and nights.\n\nRole Overview\n\nAs a key member of the maintenance team, you will provide multi-skilled engineering support across the facility. You'll work on a wide range of machinery from automated presses to robotic systems ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the plant.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nPerform routine and preventive maintenance in accordance with the site plan.\nRespond swiftly to breakdowns to minimise downtime and maintain production flow.\nConduct fault diagnosis and repair across mechanical, electrical, and automated systems.\nAccurately document maintenance activities for audit and compliance purposes.\nParticipate in continuous improvement and problem-solving projects.\nEnsure all work is completed in line with current health and safety legislation.
\n\nCandidate Requirements\n\nTo apply for the Lead Maintenance Engineer position located in Belper, Derbyshire you will have the following:\n\nPrevious experience in a multi-skilled maintenance engineering role is essential.\nProven track record in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment.\nCompetent with PLC systems and ideally familiar with robotic equipment.\nExperience using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).\nStrong troubleshooting skills with a proactive and flexible approach.\nWillingness to work across rotating shifts (mornings, afternoons, nights). \n\nWhat's on Offer\n\nThe role offers a competitive salary package of £45,000 to £48,172, along with 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
