Our client is looking for a Lead Maintenance Engineer to join their team, providing hands-on maintenance expertise while supporting the day-to-day running of the Maintenance Department.
\n
You'll be responsible for supervising maintenance activities, supporting technicians and contractors, ensuring high Health & Safety standards, and helping to keep site facilities operating safely and efficiently.
\n

The Role
\n *Supervising and supporting the Maintenance Team
\n *Planning and prioritising routine and corrective maintenance
\n *Supporting contractors, shutdowns and project work
\n *Ensuring Health & Safety and compliance standards are maintained
\n *Identifying opportunities for plant improvement
\n *Ensuring maintenance systems and documentation are kept accurate and up to date
\n *Taking responsibility for day-to-day maintenance performance
\n
The Candidate
\n *Instrumentation qualification - Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3
\n *Good working knowledge of electrical systems
\n *4-5 years' relevant maintenance experience in a supervisory capacity
\n *Experience within oil & gas or a similar industry
\n *Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control systems
\n *Excellent communication and leadership skills
\n *Strong problem-solving ability
\n *Proactive, reliable and able to work under pressure
\n
