We are seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician with strong HVAC knowledge to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in residential or commercial properties, with proven expertise in HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
As the Lead Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations, ensuring work orders and preventative maintenance tasks are completed efficiently, and supporting the property management team in maintaining a safe, functional, and comfortable living environment for our .
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Lead and train maintenance staff, assigning daily tasks and monitoring quality of work.
- Complete work orders and preventative maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Ensure all equipment, tools, and facilities are maintained in good working order.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are needed.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and inventory.
- Respond promptly to after-hours emergencies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience; at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role .
- HVAC certification required (EPA Universal certification ).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repair.
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environmental conditions.
- Valid driver’s license required.
