Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Technician & Programmer to oversee and execute the installation and programming of audio/video, security, and low voltage systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership abilities, and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage installation projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Supervise and mentor a team of technicians, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Install and configure audio/video equipment, security systems, structured cabling, and other low voltage systems.
- Program and integrate control systems such as Crestron, Control4, Lutron, and Savant to automate AV functionalities and ensure a seamless user experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, performing necessary repairs and adjustments.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, service reports, and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in audio/video and low voltage system installations.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting Crestron, Control4, Lutron, and Savant systems.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
