Now hiring: HV Substation Design Engineer (CDAE – Grid Projects)



Are you an experienced HV Substation Design Engineer with CDAE expertise looking to lead major UK infrastructure projects — with the flexibility to work remotely?



Join a collaborative Transmission Design Team delivering high-quality solutions for key clients including Grid, SSE, SPEN, and DNOs.



Remote working flexibility

Lead design from concept through to commissioning

Be a key technical contact across engineering, project, and bid teams

What you'll bring:

✔️ Proven experience in HV CDAE roles on Grid projects

✔️ Expertise in substation design – primary, secondary, and earthing systems

✔️ Strong understanding of UK standards and specifications ( Grid, British Standards, DNO/TNO)

✔️ Working knowledge of 2D CAD (preferably Autodesk tools)
