Lead Fullstack .Net Software Engineer

This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing, product-led technology unit within one of the UK’s most respected professional services organisations. Operating like a start-up but with the support of an enterprise, the team builds scalable, secure digital services for major UK public sector programmes.

They are looking to hire multiple Lead Software Engineers with strong C#/.Net experience to help drive delivery across a range of impactful and technically challenging projects.

The Role

You’ll take a hands-on engineering lead role in the design and build of distributed systems, APIs and cloud-hosted services. You’ll work closely with product managers, designers and delivery leads in a modern, agile environment – no client-facing consultancy work, just focused engineering delivery.

Location

Leeds-based team. Hybrid working model with an average of two days per week on-site (eight days per month).

What You'll Bring

• Strong engineering expertise in C#/.Net

• Full-stack capability ideal (JavaScript, TypeScript, etc.)

• Experience building secure, scalable, cloud-hosted systems (Azure , AWS/GCP also welcome)

• Familiarity with containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, RESTful APIs

• Collaborative mindset and ability to mentor junior developers

Security Clearance Requirement

Candidates must have lived in the UK continuously for the past five years and hold at least Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) or British citizenship.
