Job Description

Lead Maintenance Engineer – London, Liverpool Street - FM Service Provider – £50,000 per annum\n\nCBW are currently recruiting for a Lead Maintenance Engineer to oversee a modern multi-storey office building with several floors of workspace, meeting rooms, and facilities, based near Liverpool Street, London. You will take ownership of daily maintenance operations, with a strong focus on delivering an effective Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programme. The Lead Engineer will also be responsible for managing one engineer, ensuring smooth coordination of all mechanical and electrical (M&E) activities throughout the building.\n\nKey duties & Responsibilities\n\nManage agreed KPIs and SLAs \nArrange and oversee specialist subcontractors\nManage reports and site logbooks in partnership with the Contract Manager and Supervisor\nEnsure all documentation is current and audit-ready\nAttend client meetings as required\nLighting: small installations, fault-finding, lamp replacements, etc.\nCarry out emergency lighting and fire alarm testing\nAir conditioning maintenance: AHUs / FCUs (filter changes, cleaning, basic checks)\nMonitor and adjust BMS as required (e.g., hot/cold calls)\nMaintain all statutory compliance requirements\nHours of work\n\nMonday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm\nOvertime available \n\nRequirements\n\nElectrical or Mechanical qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent)\nMulti-skilled with a strong commercial building maintenance background\nClient-facing, professional and presentable\nHard-working, honest and reliable\nHappy work in a "Hands on / Supervisory capacity
