\n We're looking for an exceptional Lead Engineer to join a forward-thinking technology team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of enterprise systems, integrations, and software delivery.
\n This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll combine deep technical expertise with architectural ownership, helping to build scalable platforms, modern integrations, and high-quality engineering practices. You'll remain close to the code whilst influencing technical direction across the business.
What You'll Be Doing
\n Leading the design and development of backend services and integration platforms
\n Owning architecture across Microsoft Dynamics 365, internal systems, and third-party SaaS applications
\n Writing production-grade code and setting engineering standards
\n Mentoring and supporting engineers across Python and .NET ecosystems
\n Driving best practice across code quality, testing, CI/CD and technical delivery
\n Working closely with Product, QA and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions
\n Championing the practical and responsible use of AI development tools to improve engineering velocity and quality
\n Making key architectural decisions that support business growth and operational excellence
Essential Experience

• Proven experience in a Lead Engineer, Principal Engineer or Senior Engineering role

\n

• Deep hands-on expertise in Python and/or .NET

\n

• Strong background in backend engineering, APIs, integrations and event-driven architectures

\n

• Experience designing and building solutions across ERP platforms, ideally Dynamics 365

\n

• Strong SQL and data modelling expertise

\n

• Cloud experience across AWS and/or Azure

\n

• Practical DevOps knowledge including CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code

\n

• Ability to balance short-term delivery with long-term architectural strategy

\n

• Experience using modern AI coding tools to enhance software development

\n
