Your main role as Lead Electrical Installer will be to oversee and perform the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. What You'll Do:

  • Lead and coordinate the work of electrical helpers/installers on site
  • Interpret and execute electrical plans, blueprints, and specifications
  • Assist in planning material and labor needs for assigned tasks or phases of work
  • Ensure installations meet local, state, and electrical codes
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members
  • Monitor progress and provide regular updates to Management
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed and participate in safety meetings
  • Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues and recommend corrective actions
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior staff and apprentices
  • Perform quality control checks and ensure the timely completion of work

Who We're Looking For:

The ideal candidate is someone who ...

  • Has a high school diploma or GED; technical school or formal apprenticeship is
  • Has 3+ years of experience in commercial or residential electrical work (5+ years )
  • Demonstrates the ability to lead a team or crew
  • Has a strong knowledge of NEC ( Electrical Code) and safety regulations
  • Is proficient with electrical tools, testing equipment, and materials
  • Shows excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Is reliable, punctual, and committed to high-quality workmanship
  • Is able to take direction from Management and work well in a team environment
  • Is able to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Demonstrates a willingness to work in various weather conditions and job site environments; must be able to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and occasionally work off of platforms/scaffolding
  • Is able to use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull: objects, materials, controls, and tools; and is able to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, squatting, sitting, and lifting
