Lead Engineer - Wanted - Immediate Start!\n\nLocation: Sheffield/Leeds | Salary: £35,000-£45,000 DOE\n\nPermanent, Full-Time\n\nAre you an experienced Electrician?\n\nRegional Recruitment are recruiting for an Lead Engineer to join a professional and growing electrical services company. This is a customer-facing, field-based role requiring a reliable, forward-thinking individual who can work independently and as part of a wider team. You will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation, testing, and fault diagnosis at client sites across the UK, maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction\n\nWhat's on Offer:\n\nOpportunities for training and further professional development.\nSupportive management and clear communication of work schedules.\nThe opportunity to work with a reputable and professional electrical services provider\nQualifications\n\nEssential:\n NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation\n 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations\n Level 2 and Level 3 Technical Certificates\n\nDesirable:\n 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification (or 2392, with a booked test date)\n Gold JIB Card\n PASMA and IPAF certifications\n\nRoles & Responsibilities\n\nCarrying out electrical installation and testing works at agreed customer sites.\nDiagnosing and repairing electrical faults efficiently in line with training and company procedures.\nWorking safely in a variety of environments, taking all necessary precautions to prevent danger and avoid injury.\nLiaising with the Operations Supervisor regarding work schedules and daily activities.\nCommunicating effectively with staff and customers at all levels while on site.\nMaintaining excellent timekeeping, adhering strictly to start and finish times as detailed in work schedules issued in advance.\nProactively identifying and preventing potential areas of customer dissatisfaction, including effective route planning and forward preparation.\nMaintaining a professional appearance and complying fully with company uniform standards at all times.\nDemonstrating flexibility and willingness to travel to any destination within the UK, including during emergency situations.\nMentoring Apprentices/Trainee Engineers\nTechnical Assistance/Support with difficult faults or Jobs\nBeing willing to work unsocial hours when required, including Bank Holidays.\nUndertaking any other ad-hoc duties as directed by the company.\nRequirements\n\nAs part of the role, you will also be expected to:\n\nComplete all required paperwork accurately, efficiently, and on time.\nEnsure all documentation is submitted to Head Office no later than the following Monday after works are completed.\nSend all data to the Operations Assistant in the correct format in line with company standards\nHealth, Safety & Compliance\n\nAll employees are required to:\n\nComply with all employment legislation and relevant codes of good practice.\nTake reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of others in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and associated legislation.\nCo-operate fully with the company and colleagues to ensure statutory and safety requirements are met at all times.\nAbout Regional Recruitment\n\nThis position is being advertised by Regional Recruitment Ltd, an award-winning independent recruitment agency established in 2008.We specialise in permanent, temporary, and contract opportunities across the Commercial, Construction, Industrial, Technology, and Engineering sectors.\n\nIf this Lead Engineer role is right for you - Click to apply below.\n\nTo explore more roles available across the UK, please visit\n\n(url removed)
