Location: Alameda, CA (Onsite)
Compensation: $150,000–$200,000

Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Electrical Engineer to design, integrate, and maintain electrical systems for our advanced electric boats. This role requires experience with high-voltage EV systems, marine environments, and strong collaboration with mechanical and production teams. You will play a critical role in ensuring our vessels meet performance, safety, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and integrate high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems for marine EV applications

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system architecture, wiring harness design, and component selection

  • Conduct electrical testing, troubleshooting, and validation during production and prototyping phases

  • Ensure compliance with ABYC, USCG, and other relevant marine/electrical standards

  • Create detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and documentation for manufacturing and service teams

  • Support field operations and resolve issues in real time during testing and customer delivery

  • Identify and implement improvements to electrical design and build processes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 8+ years of experience with high-voltage EV systems, preferably in automotive, marine, or aerospace sectors

  • Strong understanding of power distribution, battery systems, and marine electrical integration

  • Ability to read and create wiring diagrams and schematics

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience in an assembly/manufacturing environment

Follows SOPs and takes pride in clean, efficient work
