Lead Electrical Engineer 1 - Nuclear

Description

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with three days a week in the office and two days remote.

You will lead projects involving troubleshooting and solving electrical engineering issues for single and multi-discipline projects, requiring coordination across disciplines.

Responsibilities include:

Leading group efforts to ensure successful completion of electrical engineering deliverables, meeting technical, quality, financial, and project expectations.

Defining scope of work, deliverables, and tracking progress to maintain scope and budget.

Conducting routine status meetings and submitting progress reports.

Resolving project issues and coordinating deliverables.

Leading detailed design phases, including interface with other disciplines.

Developing project scope, cost estimates, and schedules for electrical modifications at nuclear power plants.

Providing technical oversight, including design change packages, calculations, equipment specifications, and bid evaluations.

Interfacing with clients to validate scope and ensure satisfaction.

Mentoring team members and developing client relationships for future opportunities.

Preparing multi-discipline proposals.

Qualifications

Essential skills and experience include:

BSEE degree from an ABET-accredited program.

10+ years in electrical system design for nuclear power plants.

3+ years leading engineering design groups.

Experience with equipment selection, design change packages, and calculations.

Experience as a client liaison and in electrical system design, including low and medium voltage systems.

Effective communication skills and proficiency with MS Office.

Attention to detail and ability to obtain unescorted access to nuclear stations.

PE licensure .

Compensation Range

$109,410 - $168,770
