This company is a key player in the power systems sector, specialising in the design, manufacture, and testing of high-voltage substation protection and control equipment.\n\nWith a strong reputation in providing reliable solutions and bespoke engineering services, they are looking for a dynamic professional to lead the technical delivery of customer projects.\n\nLead Electrical Design Engineer – The Role:\n\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for the technical management of engineering projects, ensuring the delivery of cost-effective and timely design solutions.\n\nLead Electrical Design Engineer - Key Responsibilities:\n\n- Lead technical project delivery in line with customer requirements, internal procedures, and project timelines\n\n- Act as the technical point of contact for stakeholders and manage all technical communications\n\nCoordinate and guide engineering resources (electrical, mechanical, and other disciplines) across assigned projects\n\n- Conduct site surveys (as required), ensuring compliance with health and safety standards\n\n- Manage and respond to client technical queries and oversee all formal drawing submissions\n\n- Produce and issue various technical documents\n\n- Liaise with the manufacturing team during the build phase and support testing activities\n\n- Contribute to tenders and provide technical support to the sales team where needed\n\nLead Electrical Design Engineer - You:\n\n- Proven experience in technical project management\n\n- Ability to produce electrical design drawings\n\n- Strong stakeholder communication and people management skills\n\n- Excellent attention to detail and time management\n\n- Motivated and able to motivate others\n\n- HNC/HND qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent)\n\nLead Electrical Design Engineer – Benefits:\n\n- Competitive salary, bonus and pension\n\n- Half day on a Friday\n\nTo submit your CV for this Lead Electrical Design Engineer opportunity click ‘Apply’ now
