As a Lead Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Establishing technical requirements basing on customer functional specifications and project needs in compliance with international codes and standards
  • Leading and contributing on design development activities such as CAD modelling and documents creation ensuring alignment with requirements and schedule
  • Working cross functionally with other teams and departments to align interfaces, design, activities, and deliverables.
  • Presenting design outcomes in design reviews when and as relevant.
  • Managing engineering suppliers on the technical standpoint, providing guidance and granting compliance to applicable technical and contractual requirements.

As a Lead Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Establishing technical requirements basing on customer functional specifications and project needs in compliance with international codes and standards
  • Leading and contributing on design development activities such as CAD modelling and documents creation ensuring alignment with requirements and schedule
  • Working cross functionally with other teams and departments to align interfaces, design, activities, and deliverables.
  • Presenting design outcomes in design reviews when and as relevant.
  • Managing engineering suppliers on the technical standpoint, providing guidance and granting compliance to applicable technical and contractual requirements.
  • Providing engineering support to program management and any other stakeholder.
  • Supporting the sourcing team through procurement, manufacturing and test of designed products
  • Providing consultancy advice to the project bid team.


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Master’s degree .
  • Have minimum 5 years of experience in subsea engineering in O&G (preference), Energy, Industrial or renewables environment.
  • Demonstrate experience of collaborating with cross-functional teams in a global-matrix environment to deliver complex technical projects and solutions
  • Have good communication and presentation skills to articulate technical information in a clear and concise manner in English
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing ANSI Y14.5M (GD&T), experience performing Finite Element Analysis.
  • Proficient using MS Office applications, MathCad, AutoCAD, CreO/ProE and TeamCenter.
  • Knowledgeable of applicable codes and standards (such as related API, ASME, etc.)
  • Understands general material types, coating types, welding, manufacturing techniques, corrosion protection, and NDE.
