We are looking for a skilled, organized, and deeply personable Lead Carpenter / Project Manager who loves transforming homes and building incredible relationships with homeowners.
Position Overview
This role requires a unique balance: you are a master craftsman who takes immense pride in your woodwork, but you are also the primary "face" of the company on-site. You will be working directly in our clients' homes, guiding them through the renovation process, managing timelines, and ensuring the absolute highest level of cleanliness, communication, and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary, daily point of contact for the homeowner. Keep them informed of progress, walk them through daily updates, and manage their expectations with empathy and professionalism.

Residential Craftsmanship: Perform high-level rough and finish carpentry, including custom trim, built-ins, framing, window/door installations, and cabinetry.

Site & Subcontractor Management: Coordinate internal crews and specialty subcontractors (plumbers, painters, and our own electrical team) to keep the project moving seamlessly.

The "Clean Site" Standard: Maintain an immaculate residential job site. You understand that working in someone's home requires the utmost respect for their space, pets, and daily routines.

Problem Solving & Change Orders: Navigate the unexpected twists of residential remodeling with calm professionalism. Work collaboratively with the client and management to present clear solutions and manage project changes smoothly.
Requirements

Experience: Verifiable residential carpentry experience, running residential jobs, and interacting directly with homeowners.

People Skills: Exceptional customer service skills. You must be approachable, an active listener, and excellent at translating complex construction details into simple terms for clients.

Licensing: Valid OSHA 10 certification. A valid Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (CSL) or Home Improvement Contractor (HIC) familiarity is highly .

Logistics: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
