Position Overview:
The Lead Architect will be responsible for overseeing and managing all architectural aspects of projects from conception to completion. This individual will use their expertise and experience to lead a team of architects and guide them through the design and construction process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, design, and construction with the ability to efficiently and effectively lead cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of architects, providing guidance and mentoring as needed
- Oversee all architectural aspects of projects, ensuring designs are in line with client requirements and budget constraints
- Create and review construction drawings, ensuring they are accurate and complete
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines and budgets are met
- Regularly attend project meetings and provide updates on the progress of architectural designs
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, codes, and regulations
- Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and address any issues that may arise
- Prepare and present project proposals to clients, including cost estimates and timelines
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Architect or Lead Architect
- Nevada Architectural Certification
- Strong proficiency in Revit Architecture and Bluebeam software
- In-depth knowledge of design and construction principles, methods, and materials
- Excellent project management and leadership skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in creating and reviewing construction drawings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure quality control
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
